- Washington Post’s Wonkblog asked various famous people to supply their ‘graph of the year’. It’s pretty clear that these are based on content, not design.
- Facebook data users switching their avatar picture to the Human Rights Campaign marriage equality logo: spatial and temporal data and evidence of many rounds of copying of the logo from JPEG distortion(a bit light on detail, sadly)
- He sees you when you’re sleeping: does the NSA know what times you sleep? Miles Grimshaw’s blog also has an animation of everywhere he went this year, as tracked by his phone.
