David Scott obtained a BA and PhD from the Australian National University and then commenced his university teaching career at La Trobe University in 1972.       No. The prediction was home team by nearly fourteen points. The home team won by 12 points, so the result of the game was correctly predicted. The predictions are assessed as TRUE or FALSE if the winning team is predicted correctly. The predicted margin indicates the likelihood of the prediction being true. It can be converted to give an actual probability, but I don’t do that.

        Thanks for the quick reply – I thought the home team won by 6 – But sorry I thought you they were graded as true or false based on the points predictions. Thanks for the clarification.
